Bring us in to do a Drama Camp!  In a half day camp, we'll provide 3 hours of theatrical fun each day!  Each of our camps kick off with a HeARTbeat performance. Next we'll jump into a fun filled week of exploring drama skills like concentration/focus, observation, movement, voice, expression and presence.  We'll use games, exercises, simple scripts and team challenges to make this a high energy time kids won't soon forget.  Campers will also learn about the elements of story, prop making and even a little shadow puppetry.

As part of Drama Camp, each camper will receive a HeARTbeat T-shirt, water bag and drawstring bag.

Minimum charge is $5000 (assumes 35 participants). Some supervisory help required.

Wanted to do a week of Drama Day Camp?  HeARTbeat's your answer!  Our full day Drama Day Camp provides 6.5 hours each day  We'll kick things off with a HeARTbeat performance and then jump into a fun filled week of exploring drama skills like concentration/focus, observation, movement, voice, expression and presence.  We'll use games, exercises, simple scripts and team challenges to make this high energy time kids won't soon forget.  Campers will also learn about the elements of story, prop making and even a little shadow puppetry.

Working together in the afternoons will allow for collaborative creative presentations and simple scripted performances at week's end, not to mention the challenge of team competition throughout the week that will culminate in our final ceremony!

In a Christian faith based context like a church or parish, added to the description of Drama Day Camp activities above, we weave together exploring and appreciating God's creativity and our uniqueness, recognizing our call to shine His Light in the world with the dramatic arts skills and challenges built into our Half-Day and Full-Day Drama camps. 

We'll use scriptures like Matthew 5:14-16 and Colossians 3:12-14 to explore what it means to identify as a follower of God and how that shapes the way we think, imagine and interact with the world around us.
